The Glycymerididae (Mollusca: Bivalvia) of the NE Atlantic and the Mediterranean Sea, pp. 1-8, pls I-XXVI, by F. Nolf & F. Swinnen.

In a previous paper, published in Neptunea, 12(2), the endemic West African representatives of the genus Glycymeris were treated. The new species Glycymeris rafaelmesai Nolf & Swinnen, 2013 was introduced, together with the diagnosis of another unknown species from Angola. The present paper will treat the East Atlantic and Mediterranean species of the genus Glycymeris. Some of these species also occur along the coasts of NW Africa, Madeira and the Canary Islands.
