The family Solecurtidae d’Orbigny, 1846 (Bivalvia: Heterodonta: Veneroidea) in Europe, pp.1-17 + figs. by Frank Nolf & Johan Verstraeten.

The four representatives of the family Solecurtidae in Europe are extensively commented and illustrated. For the first time in literature their specific geographic distribution is accurately defined. The difference between S. multistriatus (Scacchi, 1835) and S. scopula (Turton, 1822) is emphasized.
